Terms of use for the GoodJob Application for Customers and Workers
This document is an electronic agreement between each GoodJob user and PT Karya Dewata Bagus as the operator of GoodJob. It governs account creation, feature use, service ordering, payments, communications, safety, complaints, and account termination.
By ticking a consent box or pressing an approval button after the document link is made available, the User confirms that the User has read and agreed to these Terms. A User who activates the Worker role must also agree to the GoodJob Worker Terms and Agreement.
1. Scope and Related Documents
These Terms and Conditions apply to the GoodJob mobile application, website, and official GoodJob services.
The GoodJob Privacy Policy governs personal data processing. The GoodJob Payment, Cancellation, Refund, and Payout Policy governs transaction details. The GoodJob Worker Terms and Agreement apply specifically to Workers. All such documents form one integrated set according to the matters they govern.
If there is any inconsistency, the more specific document applies to the relevant subject matter. Summaries, FAQs, notices, or interface text may help explain the service, but they do not reduce any rights granted under the legal documents or applicable laws.

3. Role of GoodJob
GoodJob provides a service marketplace that connects Customers and Workers and facilitates search, offers, communications, payments, Job status, ratings, and transaction support.
Unless expressly stated for a specific service, GoodJob is not a field service provider and is not the employer of Workers. The service performance agreement is formed directly between the Customer and the Worker when the offer is accepted and the required payment has been confirmed. GoodJob may set Platform standards, conduct verification, and handle disputes administratively without assuming responsibility for the actual service performance of the parties.
Payments are processed through payment service providers that have the required license or authority under applicable law. GoodJob is not a bank, electronic money issuer, deposit-taking institution, or payment service provider unless GoodJob obtains the license required by law.
4. Account Eligibility and Consent
- Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into agreements.
- Users must provide true, complete, and up-to-date information and must use their own identity.
- One account may only be used by its owner. Accounts, OTPs, Attendance Codes, and device access may not be transferred, lent, shared, or assigned.
- Authentication may be performed using an OTP sent through WhatsApp. GoodJob never asks Users to send an OTP through chat or to any staff member.
- A User may use the Customer role and may apply to activate the Worker role. Worker activation is subject to verification and the Worker Agreement.
- GoodJob may request proportionate additional verification if there is a security risk, data mismatch, suspected fraud, or legal obligation.
Electronic consent is recorded at minimum by account, time, document version, language, and consent channel. GoodJob may request renewed consent if a material change affects fees, responsibilities, data use, cancellation, or dispute resolution.
5. Job Features and Workflow
5.1 Job creation and Worker Selection
Customers may create public job postings or directly offer a Job to a Worker. Customers must describe the service type, location, schedule, duration, expected outcome, tools or materials provided, special risks, and other information affecting price or safety.
Workers may apply or submit price offers. Before being selected, Workers may amend their offer up to two times if the feature is available. After a Worker is selected and payment is confirmed, changes to price, schedule, or scope must be agreed through the Platform.
5.2 Attendance and Completion
The Worker uses the Attendance Code when arriving at the location. The Customer may only show the code to the selected Worker. The Worker then performs the service and marks the Job as completed. The Customer must inspect the result and submit confirmation or objection through the Platform.
If the Worker has marked the Job as completed and the Customer does not respond within six hours, the system may automatically complete the Job. Automatic completion does not remove the Customer’s right to file a complaint based on evidence and within the applicable deadlines.
6. Customer Obligations
- Provide accurate descriptions, addresses, schedules, access details, and risk information;
- Select Workers reasonably and review profiles, prices, reviews, and qualifications displayed on the Platform;
- Make payments through the Platform and not diver Transactions outside the Platform;
- Provide a safe, non-discriminatory work environment free from harassment or violence;
- Be present or appoint an authorized person to grant location access;
- Not request services that are illegal, dangerous, or outside the Worker’s qualification;
- Inspect results, preserve relevant evidence, and submit complaints in good faith; and
- Respect the Worker’s privacy and not disseminate the Worker’s identity card, bank account, photo, location, or data without a lawful basis.
7. Payments, Fees, and Taxes
Customers must pay the amount displayed before confirmation. Details may include service value, Platform or payment fees, taxes, approved additional fees, discounts, or promotions.
Physical funds are processed by a payment provider. Any balance record or Held Payment status in the Platform is an administrative record and is not a bank account, deposit, electronic money, or investment product issued by GoodJob.
Cancellation, refund, App Fee, tip, chargeback, and payout provisions are governed by the GoodJob Payment, Cancellation, Refund, and Payout Policy. Each party is responsible for its own tax obligations, unless GoodJob is required by law to withhold or report taxes.
8. Location, Camera, Chat, and Notifications
8.1 Location
The Platform may request location permission while in use to determine addresses, find nearby Workers, support navigation, verify attendance, and handle safety or dispute matters. GoodJob does not request background location access in the current application version. Users may refuse or revoke permission, but features requiring location may stop functioning.
8.2 Camera and photos
The camera or photo picker may be used for identity cards, profiles, portfolios, Attendance Codes, work evidence, and dispute evidence. Users must ensure that submitted materials are relevant, do not infringe others’ rights, and do not disclose personal data excessively.
8.3 Chat and notifications
Chat may only be used for Jobs and related support. Messages may be stored and reviewed on a limited basis for security, fraud prevention, moderation, report handling, and evidence. Users may not send OTPs, passwords, card data, harassment, threats, spam, malware, or invitations to transact outside the Platform.
GoodJob may send OTPs, status updates, security messages, payout, refund, and legal notices through the application, push notifications, email, or WhatsApp. Marketing communications are sent only in accordance with the User’s choices and revocable consent.
9. Content, Ratings, and Reviews
Users retain their rights to User Content. By uploading content, Users grant GoodJob a non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and use such content only for Platform provision, security, evidence, and promotion if the User has given appropriate permission.
Ratings and reviews must come from real experience, be relevant, and be submitted in good faith. GoodJob may reject, restrict, or remove content that is illegal, misleading, manipulative, discriminatory, privacy-invasive, infringing, or harmful. Users may request review of moderation decisions.
10. Prohibited Services and Safety
- Services that violate law, public order, or third-party rights;
- Prostitution, sexual exploitation, gambling, narcotics, human trafficking, money laundering, or terrorism financing;
- Medical, legal, financial, electrical, construction, transportation, childcare, or other regulated professional services without required licenses or competence;
- Work whose risks are not disclosed or that lacks the necessary protective equipment;
- Creation of false documents, hacking, interception, fraud, or misuse of personal data; and
- Pornographic, hateful, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or violent content
In an emergency, Users must prioritize safety, stop work if necessary, contact emergency services or authorities, and then report the incident to GoodJob. GoodJob may suspend a Transaction and retain necessary evidence.
11. Cancellation, Refund, Complaints, and Appeals
Users may cancel or report a Job according to the available status. After a Job is scheduled, Customer cancellation is subject to a 30 percent deduction as Worker compensation, unless the cancellation is caused by the Worker, GoodJob, system disruption, proven safety risk, or another circumstance requiring a full refund.
A Job that has started cannot be cancelled unilaterally. Users must contact Customer Service so that the status can be held and evidence can be examined. Users may submit chat records, photos, videos, proof of payment, Attendance Code, chronology, and other relevant evidence.
GoodJob’s decision is administrative for Platform transaction management and does not remove consumer rights or the parties’ rights to use dispute resolution mechanisms available under law. Users may file an objection with additional evidence within seven calendar days after the decision is delivered.
12. Suspension, Account Closure, and Deletion
GoodJob may restrict features, hold fund settlement, reject Transactions, suspend, or close accounts if there is a security risk, fraud, false data, off-Platform transaction, serious complaint, repeated violation, authority order, or breach of this document. Except in emergencies or where prohibited by law, GoodJob will provide reasons and an objection channel.
Users may request account closure and deletion through available account features or by sending a request from their registered number or email to admin@goodjobindonesia.com. GoodJob may complete Transactions, payouts, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, tax obligations, or legally required retention before full deletion. Data that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
The trademarks, logos, designs, software, databases, and materials provided by GoodJob are owned by or licensed to PT Karya Dewata Bagus. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Platform in accordance with this document.
Users may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, hack, scrape data automatically, use unauthorized bots, bypass security controls, or use GoodJob intellectual property for purposes outside the permitted use.
14. Privacy and Third Parties
Personal data processing is governed by the GoodJob Privacy Policy. Certain features use payment providers, WhatsApp, Google and Firebase services, maps, cloud storage, analytics, notifications, and other services. Third-party terms may apply when Users open or use those services.
GoodJob selects and manages providers that act under GoodJob’s instructions reasonably. Certain providers, including banks or payment providers, may act as independent data controllers for their own obligations.
15. Service Availability and Liability
GoodJob seeks to provide the Platform reliably, but maintenance, network disruption, devices, banks, payment providers, third-party services, cyberattacks, government policy, or force majeure may cause temporary delay or unavailability.
Customers and Workers are responsible for the accuracy of their information, acts, omissions, safety, and service performance. Verification, ratings, location, Attendance Codes, or GoodJob support are risk management efforts and are not absolute guarantees of a Worker’s identity, integrity, quality, or results.
To the extent permitted by law, GoodJob is not liable for indirect losses or loss of profits that could not reasonably be foreseen. GoodJob’s direct liability for one Transaction is limited to the value of the Transaction that is the subject of the claim. This limitation does not apply to willful misconduct, gross negligence, GoodJob’s breach of data protection obligations, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
Users are responsible for compensating reasonable and proven direct losses arising from legal violations, breach of this document, false documents, User Content, or intentional acts of the User, as determined through a fair process and in accordance with law.
16. Amendments and Termination
GoodJob may update this document due to changes in features, security, transaction model, or law. Material changes will be notified before they take effect through the Platform or registered channels. GoodJob will request renewed consent where required by law or where the change materially increases fees or reduces User rights. Changes do not apply retroactively to confirmed Transactions unless required by law or agreed by the parties.
Account termination does not remove obligations that arose before termination, including Job completion, payment, payout, refund, tax, confidentiality, use of data as evidence, and disputes.
17. Force Majeure
Force majeure includes natural disasters, major fires, epidemics, large-scale network or data center disruptions, government action, riots, war, and other events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party. The affected party must notify the circumstances and impact as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce losses.
Obligations that are genuinely prevented are suspended during the force majeure event. GoodJob may hold status, assist rescheduling, cancel Jobs, or divide and return funds based on the part of the service performed, approved actual costs, and evidence. Force majeure does not remove consumer rights or obligations that can still be performed.
18. General Provisions
If any provision is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. GoodJob’s failure or delay in exercising any right is not a waiver of that right. Section headings are for convenience only and do not limit the substance of the provisions.
GoodJob may transfer Platform management to a lawful business successor while continuing to protect User rights and Personal Data according to law. Users may not transfer their accounts or obligations without GoodJob’s written consent.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This document is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Users and GoodJob will first seek resolution through Customer Service and amicable discussion for up to 30 calendar days after a complete report is received.
If no agreement is reached, consumers may use the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency, the competent court, or other mechanisms available under law. This provision does not limit any consumer right to choose a forum granted by applicable laws.
